World aid for earthquake victims is NOT GETTING TO THE POOR! In speaking with one of the pastors, the report is that most of the merchandise sent for the earthquake victims is not getting to the truly poor. The merchandise sent is being sold on the black market.

(Please see page "Recent trip updates" for help brought to the Haitians)A Heart for Haiti Missions is a non-profit Christian organization based on faith serving in Haiti which provides funds through donations from our supporters to programs that enable the Haitian people to help themselves. In particular the city of Cap Haitien (Madeline), the town of Terrier Rouge and the villages of D'Ouvray and Bois D' Lance. 100% of all funds raised are given to the children and people of Haiti through the help of local pastors. We are an all volunteer organization. We are under the non-profit 501(c)3 status of the Breakabeen Church in Breakabeen, NY.Food, education and sustainability are the areas we feel confident are essential to this goal of independence. We are also committed to being a resource for other needs as well. We are open to opportunities and will be flexible with our visions as we grow.
